Mortgage Connect (“we” or “us”) values Simply Connect users’ privacy. This privacy policy is effective as of 5/9/2018 and summarizes what information we might collect from a registered user, and what we will and will not do with it.

Personally Identifiable Information

“Personally Identifiable Information” means information that can be used to identify you as an individual, such as your name, contact information, login ID and password. If you do provide Personally Identifiable Information to us, we will not sell or rent it to a third party.

Information Acquired During Assignments

The Simply Connect application provides features that require access to certain functions on your mobile device. Granting us access does not mean you are granting unlimited access to information on your device or that we will access specific information without your permission. Simply Connect does not permanently store, use, or sell any of the data that is collected during your assignments. The temporary data we do store on your profile is kept for 30 days. Personally Identifiable Information we obtain through your use of Simply Connect will be used or disclosed by us for administration of the Simply Connect service, our normal administration and when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

In particular:

Photos and Camera: Although you will be using your device’s camera during your assignment with Mortgage Connect, the images you capture during your assignments will never be stored on your device. We will never access any personal pictures stored on your device.
Location: We will not gather or use the specific location of your mobile device without your knowledge. When you log into the Simply Connect application, you are granting us permission to track your location via GPS. If you do not manually log out of the application after completing your assignment, your location will continue to be visible to us for 30 minutes at which time an automatic logout will occur. The location information we capture is used to calculate your distance from the appointment site and your estimated time of arrival.
Third Party Services: Simply Connect uses Google Maps for location services and GPS maps. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy on the information they collect and how they use that information.
App Features Used: We track and store statistics on the Simply Connect features you have used and when you used them so that we can research functional issues that may arise. This information can be accessed by technicians in any technical problem-solving that may be required to support Simply Connect.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as we deem necessary or appropriate because of legal compliance requirements or changes in our business practices. If you have provided us with an email address, we will notify you, by email to that address, of any material change to how we will use Personally Identifiable Information.
